PureWay-C® is a vitamin C–lipid metabolite formulation rather than ascorbic acid alone. Its distinction is supported by published human research comparing a 1,000 mg vitamin C dose from PureWay-C® with ascorbic acid, calcium ascorbate, and Ester-C®. In that study, PureWay-C® produced the highest absolute serum vitamin C levels and significantly higher serum levels than calcium ascorbate at multiple measured time points.
